His early career took him to Washington, D.C. where he served as a staffer for both Senator Dianne Feinstein and Senator Debbie Stabenow. Tim returned to the Bay Area to earn his J.D. as Santa Clara University School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a legal fellow at the Leon and Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy.

In addition to his legal and advocacy roles, Tim served on the San Francisco Barristers’ Club Board of Directors, on the Board of Directors for the Bay Area Council, and on the Advisory Council for the Kroc Center San Francisco.
