Jennifer serves as the Senior Director of Legislative Policy and Operations at the Deveau Burr Group (DBG), where she leverages her extensive experience in legislative strategy, operational management, client engagement, and creative branding. In her role, Jennifer oversees a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including legislative tracking, advocacy support, project management, and optimizing DBG’s internal processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. She also leads creative initiatives—developing cohesive brand visuals and client-facing materials that transform complex legislative information into impactful resources.

Working closely with clients and legislators, Jennifer provides strategic guidance, prepares clear and actionable reports, and crafts presentations that simplify complex legislative developments. She additionally leads the planning of high-impact events for DBG’s team, clients, and legislative stakeholders.

Jennifer’s passion for education drives her close collaboration with the DBG Education Team to guide clients through legislative and regulatory challenges. Her expertise stems from her experience as an educator in local Sacramento school districts, where she gained firsthand exposure to fostering educational equity.

​

Before joining DBG, Jennifer held leadership roles at the Association of California Healthcare Districts and Strategies 360, excelling in operations and client services. She earned her Master of Arts in Education, Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from UC Davis, underscoring her dedication to education and policy advocacy.

When she’s not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their goldendoodle, Murphy, while exploring local parks in the region.
